So, we’re looking around the Comcast site, trying to find out how to disconnect our service and return the cable modem – we’ve emptied and sold the house, the cable modem is in a box in the truck, they most absolutely don’t provide service where we’re moving to – and I see this on the site:
Connection Status: Internet, connected; TV, connected.
Internet is most certainly not connected and we haven’t actually had TV service with them in about six years.
No doubt when I do actually find a phone number that somebody answers or we muster the courage to use their patronizing “Chat with an Agent!” feature, they’ll say anything and everything to keep us as a customer.
This could be fun.
