Life with a TBI

Life, it is said, is what happens when we’re busy making other plans.

I sustained a severe TBI just before Christmas, 2017, from a fall about 4 or 5m high. It wasn’t from doing something risky or dangerous or unwise.

I was knocked unconscious and remained entirely unaware of everything over the following two or three weeks.

Instant and, to some degree, permanent brain damage.

This blog is of course a “regular” blog where I’ve shared thoughts or musings and such over the preceding years — back to 2005 or so. Sometimes technical. Sometimes work-related. Sometimes NSFW.

It was just the randomness of life, really.

Then FDGB (Fall Down, Go Boom) happened.
