You Don’t Need a Fire Extinguisher

Would these qualify as high-capacity, chemical-laden, assault extinguishers with no legitimate fire-quenching purpose?

You don’t need a fire extinguisher — just call the fire department. They’ll save you.

Oh, and let’s not forget that there is no mention of fire extinguishers in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights.

I mean, why would somebody want to have an extinguisher unless they were planning to start a fire somewhere?

County Sheriffs Association of Colorado Throws Their Hat in the Ring

The CSOC has thrown their hat in the ring on the Gun People Control issue.

The summary of their stance is factual and logical — their conclusion:

“…we urge our state elected officials not to make decisions during this grieving period because it would likely lead to policies that are unenforceable and possibly unconstitutional, while punishing law abiding citizens and doing nothing to reduce violent crime.”

Based on the verbiage of my Sheriff’s statement on the issue, I’m not certain exactly what his position is.

Amusing, Yes… but Fake…

This image has been making the rounds on FaceBook:

Amusing, yes. Entertaining. I mean, who wouldn’t love to run up and slap a Spartan sticker on a Presidential limo?

Problem is, it’s fake. Here’s the original:

Back story is something along the lines of: the Presidential seal, which is just one of those magnetic door decal types, fell off the car. A police officer (or detective, or Secret Service agent, or somesuch) finds it and reattaches it.

First one is more appropriate though.
