Well… that explains why some point to point service has sucked off and on: watch.
If I’d had a chance to fill out a report on something like that, it probably would’ve read something like this:
– Problem description: packet loss due to signal degradation
– System state: investigation revealed 300 lbs of acorns in the antenna assembly
– Repairs made: emptied acorns & installed cat to prevent recurrence
A Fundamental Difference in Mindset
As Yoda said, “Do. Or do not. There is no try.”
It all comes down to a fundamental difference in mindset:
“It was bulletproof, so it wouldn’t have done any good to try anyway…” — that’s a defeatist attitude.
vs.
“DO!” — that’s a winning attitude. It doesn’t matter what the damned thing was made of. If you don’t try, then you’ve already committed yourself to letting somebody else decide your fate for you.
