The headache pain? For me, trivial. Very mild — yes, I had migraine headaches — but compared to the descriptions of other patients had, where headaches where so debilitating, they’d rate the headache pain as an 11 on a scale of 1-10.
For me, typically about 4 on the same 1-10 scale. Tolerable.
But the other stuff was different.
Scary even.

This morning, I registered for the race/run on 3 May:
I have no idea what the time will be. Could be more. Could be less. Could be spot-on. But I had to pick a time for the 12k distance.
Okay, now that the year’s actually over, you can do those Best Of/Worst Of lists I was just complaining about the other day.
It’s been over in England for a few hours. It’s been over in Sri Lanka for a few hours more.
So, let’s struggle through our assorted drunken stupors and go see what’s out there…

Not sure about anyone else, but for the past week we’ve been under barrage of assorted “best of” or “worst of” lists. Or, more specifically, “The best of the year” or “worst of the decade”.
You’re jumping the gun.
The next few days may be insignificant by comparison.
Or they may not.
The year’s not over yet.
