Do you sometimes try to concentrate on reading something by reading it in goofy voices in your head?
In my head? Nope.
However, that’s actually the only way I can read anything aloud without stuttering, stammering, or losing my place in the text – by consciously using goofy voices or made-up accents. Anything other than just ‘me’.
Fewer words
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
