Modern Homes…
Before “Modern” was a thing, Joseph Eichler began designing and building what would become Modern homes.
There are, single examples to be found in many locations around the globe, the huge majority of them are found in northern California. One wonders how viable such a design would be in the present age.
I suppose it would be far more meaningful to have a location and design one’s own.
Why are so many people living on the water in London?
Because houseboats. And because longboats.
I still think it’d be fun to have a small houseboat and a tiny, homebuilt-tugboat to move it round.
