Looking at Google stats this morning, I see that page views on my 9MM Carry Options rant have quadrupled in the last few days.

That, and I hear tell that firearms sales have been brisk. Oh, and ammunition — I stopped by a local retailer on Sunday and found that ammunition is getting wiped out.

I wonder why.

What does the citizenry see? What do they know?
