This Would Be Meaningful
Larry Correia has some remarks — and worth the read — regarding, well, not being a victim of monsters.
I like the remarks about arming teachers, and it aligns completely with what I’ve been saying for years (and years and years):
“Don’t make it mandatory. In my experience, the only people who are worth a darn with a gun are the ones who wish to take responsibility and carry a gun. Make it voluntary. It is rather simple. Just make it so that your state’s concealed weapons laws trump the Federal Gun Free School Zones act. All that means is that teachers who voluntarily decide to get a concealed weapons permit are capable of carrying their guns at work. Easy. Simple. Cheap. Available now.”
Elimination of the Criminal Safe Zone is the solution.
Turn In The Guns?
Congresscritter S. Jackson Lee (D, TX*) says we should turn ’em in.
I’ve got an idea! Let’s compromise! We’ll keep our guns and you can bugger off.
Sounds like a hell of a good deal to me.

Sign of the Times — Happy News
Color me surprised: my manager announced to me quietly this morning, that he bought his first pistol just last Friday: a S&W M&P9.
But it gets better:
Another manager at the office shared privately that he, too, has purchased his first pistol — a Gen 4 G17.
A two-fer!
Congratulations, guys!
Please be sure to read, understand, and follow The Four Rules at all times. They are never negotiable and there are never excuses for violating them.
These Aren’t For Turning In
The first photo on this page sums it up — people aren’t buying these things so they can just turn them in later.
The second photo should cause concern for you–that anyone under 18 can’t buy an eating utensil.
