Well ya know, the roadside is where it’s at. Littles have been fed. Several calls made. A few hours waiting. Looks like a few more ahead of us. Good thing our destination is only another 113 miles away whenever it is we can resume our travel. I95 outside of Madison Connecticut.
Art of Recycle in Ephrata PA turned out to be one of the Littles favorite stops. A whole store dedicated to bits and bobs of unused or recycled items rescued for artistic use. Prices all aimed at being extremely reasonable. Yarn and thread leftovers, fabric remnants, wallpaper samples, board game pieces, key rings, picture frames, baskets… The list just goes on and on! Those crazy Littles finally got an item they’d been asking for. We just needed to wait till pools would be open “for the season” in the north. Call them a Memorial weekend gift.
